Richard brings a strong practical farming background and a genuine understanding of the challenges faced by farmers across the region. After moving to New Zealand in 2006, he spent several years working across sheep, dairy, and arable farming operations, gaining valuable experience in a range of production systems. He also worked in the rural supply sector at Livestock Supplies before embarking on his own farming journey.
Since 2012, Richard and his family have operated their own farm, running sheep and beef, dairy grazing, and some arable. This hands-on experience gives him a practical perspective and allows him to relate directly to the day-to-day decisions and opportunities facing farming businesses.
Based in Northern Southland, Richard is passionate about helping farmers achieve productive, profitable outcomes by providing practical advice backed by experience.
When he's not working with clients or on the farm, you'll find him enjoying motorbikes, fishing, or spending weekends supporting his children in their various sporting activities.
